Youth ID using Autogas vehicles as part of their project highlighting youth values around the world

Young people are often characterized by their dynamism, creativity, optimism and capacity of adaption and innovation. However there are very little examples of young leaders under 35 years old who have been given the opportunity to participate in the decision-process of their organizations.

The Youth ID project was launched by Yanis Lammari and Jean-Marie Pasquet, two French university students, to highlight the contributions of young people. Their project will take them around the World identifying projects and people committed empowering young people. Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary-general of UN, said during the recent world population day “Youth should be given a chance to take an active part in the decision-making of local, national and global levels”. To prove that some young people had this chance Youth ID is interviewing and broadcasting the youth’s voice who has managed to join the decision-making process within their respective organizations in aims of understanding.

This project also has environmental concerns and, as such, mobility has been taken into account. Youth ID has partnered with the LPG industry through different partnerships with associations such as CFBP, AEGPL and WLPGA, and companies like Repsol. These partnerships will allow the Youth ID team to drive Autogas vehicles during some of their trips, thus contributing to improving air quality and reducing pollutant emissions.
