WLPGA Asia Autogas Summit
The WLPGA is holding a one-day Asia Autogas Summit in Hong Kong on Monday, 3 December 2012, at the Sheraton Kowloon Hotel, to promote the use of Autogas in the Asian region.
The Autogas Summit is the second of its kind to be held in Asia, the first was held in Singapore in 2010 when delegates from over 20 countries attended.
Autogas has been the fastest growing segment in the LPG business over the last ten years and looks set to continue with over 21 million vehicles consuming 23 million tonnes of Autogas worldwide in 2011.
The one-day programme will include a case study of how the entire taxi fleet in Hong Kong was successfully switched from diesel to Autogas in just a few years. Other regional stories from Autogas powerhouses – Korea, Japan and Turkey – will also be presented. Government and the OEM industry will be represented to discuss their strategy on Autogas.
The speaker panel includes key industry LPG experts, stakeholders and senior representatives from Hong Kong, Europe, the United States and other Asian countries. The Summit will be moderated by Nick Black of Argus Media and Editor of Argus LPG World.
Delegates who are interested will be able to visit some of the world’s largest dedicated Autogas service stations the following day in Kowloon.
Over 100 delegates are expected to attend from Hong Kong and neighbouring countries. In addition there will be attendees from key Autogas countries from around the world.
The event will be held in the Sung Rooms on level 4 of the Sheraton Hotel Hong Kong & Towers, Kowloon, (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=482).
The WLPGA Asia Autogas Summit will be free for delegates to attend and lunch and coffee breaks will be included. Sponsors are invited to participate. Sponsors will have the opportunity to display materials and information and promote their organization at the Summit.
