After the excellent results obtained in the two previous seasons, BRC has decided to collaborate again with Giandomenico Basso and the Ford Fiesta R5 EVO powered by Autogas. The pilot from Treviso will drive at all the Italian Rally Championship races with the “Stripes 2016” from the Ciocco challenge on March 20, where he already won in the debut race in 2014.

BRC General Manager Massimiliano Fissore explained: “The goal of the season is, of course, to be able to get on the top of the podium and to continue to demonstrate the high level of quality achieved by BRC products.”

Sporting activity for 2016 will not be limited only to rally but will continue on the roads, where BRC will take over the technical and sport management of various Seat Leon engaged in the new Italian Touring Car Championship and in the Seat Leon Cup.

Technical Director of BRC Racing Team Gabriele Rizzo also commented: “We offer our customers and riders, lovers of race events, all of our experience and our passion to continue to provide the technical and logistical services that for five years have distinguished the Hybrid Green Cup.”

After 5 years, the Green Hybrid Cup will move into the Italian Championship of Rapid Mountain, still with the Kia Venga 1.6 powered by LPG, with six events in different parts of Italy and that will attract the attention of drivers and fans.

The 2015 edition protagonists were honoured by BRC President Mariano Costamagna and the Series sport director Jimmy Ghione.
