Spanish security company reaches a fleet of nearly 1,800 Autogas vehicles

Autogas continues to be the preferred option for Securitas Direct in the process of green transition of its commercial fleet, one of the largest in Spain. In the first nine months of 2022, the security services company has added 905 LPG-powered vehicles, with which it totals 1,792 units that represent just over half of its fleet, specifically 51%.

With these acquisitions, Securitas Direct, which has joined the celebration of the European Mobility Week for the second consecutive year, has doubled the penetration (102%) of sustainable vehicles in its fleet compared to December 2021, and achieved an 850% since it kicked off this transformation in 2019.

This initiative will accelerate the company’s Strategic Plan for the 2022-2025 period, with which it will continue to invest in an increasingly green and efficient fleet, expanding the purchase of eco-friendly vehicles in the coming years.

“Aware of the responsibility we have as a company and as a society to protect our surroundings and the environment, at Securitas Direct we work on an environmental strategy focused on measuring, reducing and offsetting our impact,” said Laura Gonzalvo, Director of Communication and ESG at Securitas Direct.
