CICAR-Cabrera Medina and DISA have renewed their strategic collaboration within the framework of the International Tourism Fair in Madrid (FITUR). One of the aspects of the collaboration has allowed CICAR to add new Autogas vehicles to its rent-a-car fleet, becoming the first Spanish rental car company to offer vehicles powered by this fuel.

Autogas is an alternative to conventional fuels and offers a 50% saving in fuel costs, a significant increase in the autonomy of vehicles and a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions.

Moreover, the agreement allowing CICAR customers receive DISA points, which can be exchanged with prizes, for renting Autogas cars has also been renewed.

Another area of ​​cooperation between the two companies is the reissue of the commercial agreement in which CICAR customers will have a direct discount on their refuelling at the DISA and Shell service stations.

DISA is supplying Autogas to CICAR fleet, and is the energy company that has bet more on the adoption of this fuel in the Canary Islands with over 200 refuelling stations.
