Spain: Santa Olalla goes green with Autogas station, could convert municipal cars

The Mayor of Santa Olalla Pedro Congosto and the Councillor for Social Welfare Eva Rodríguez attended the opening of a new LPG refuelling facility installed at the Farruco service station in the city of Santa Olalla (province of Toledo).

This initiative is the result of the collaboration between Toledo-based fuel supplier Farruco, energy company DISA Group and Santa Olalla City Council, and their commitment to the environment. All parties are concerned to promote the use of vehicles powered by alternative and more sustainable energies, thus also collaborating to reduce CO2 emissions in the city.

Moreover, after the negotiations carried out with the City Council, Farruco has committed to offer Santa Olalla the conversion of one of its municipal vehicles to Autogas or the supply of 1,000 euros in this fuel when it has a vehicle of powered by LPG.
