Repsol offers new incentives for the conversion to Autogas in Madrid

The Spanish energy company Repsol has signed an agreement with the Association of Vehicle Converters (Astrave) to promote LPG in the Community of Madrid. Under this partnership, drivers will receive an incentive of 250 Euros to switch their vehicles to this alternative fuel.

Drivers will get a discount of 100 Euros from the conversion operation, which must be performed at the workshop network managed by Astrave, while Repsol will give them 150 Euros in LPG refuelling.

This aid campaign is already in force and will run until 3 December 2021. The vehicle transformation is only valid for petrol vehicles with European regulations starting at Euro 4 (that is, cars less than 10 years old).

With this modification, the Autogas vehicle receives the ECO label from the Spanish General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) that allows it to circulate without restrictions through the Community of Madrid.

Currently, more than 150,000 LPG-powered vehicles circulate on Spanish roads, of which more than 35,000 are in the Community of Madrid. For more information, please check this link.
