Prins Autogassystemen Announced as 2014 WLPGA Innovation Award Winner

WLPGA is proud to announce that the 2014 winner of the WLPGA Innovation Award is Prins Autogassystemen BV of The Netherlands for their paper entitled “Development of Dual-Fuel technology: Prins Dieselblend-2.0 system enabling heavy duty vehicles driving on LPG” which was presented at the GTC held in London last year.

It is a recognition of all our R&D efforts. With this reliable and high quality system the benefits of emissions and cost reductions are considerable. Conversions of mid and heavy duty vehicles can be converted up to Euro 6.

The criteria for selecting a paper for presentation and publication at GTC-2014 includes technical innovation, commercial potential, operational efficiency and safety. The overall contribution of technology to expanding LPG markets and meeting the submission guidelines is also important. The steering committee – consisting of 14 LPG professionals from around the world – that selected the winner and runner up for the 2014 WLPGA Innovation Award from the papers presented at the GTC London event took all these criteria into account when coming to their recommendations.

This year there are also two joint runner up awards for papers presented at the London event.  These are AIUT of Poland for their paper entitled “Bulk Customers Delivery Planning Optimisation with Distribution Intelligence Solution. AmeriGas Poland Case Study’’ and Ito Koki Co Ltd of Japan for their paper “Eco-Friendly LPG Vaporization by Efficient Use of Atmospheric Heat’’.

James Rockall, WLPGA CEO & Managing Director will present the winner and runners up with a trophy each at the end of the forthcoming GTC in Miami on 30th October 2014. The winner also receives a complimentary pass for the 28th World LPG Forum which will take place in Singapore in September 2015.
