Every year during the World LP Gas Forum, the World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) holds a Global Technology Conference (GTC) showcasing the very latest technology being developed by the global LP Gas industry. The best papers presented at GTC are shortlisted by the steering committee for the prestigious WLPGA Innovation Award. The criteria for selecting a paper for presentation and publication at GTC-2014 includes technical innovation, commercial potential, operational efficiency and safety. The overall contribution of technology to expanding LP Gas markets and meeting the submission guidelines is also important.
The steering committee – consisting of 14 LP Gas professionals from around the world – that selected the winner and runner up for the 2014 WLPGA Innovation Award from the papers presented at the GTC London event took all these criteria into account when coming to their decision.
