Petróleos Paraguayos (Petropar) doubled the sales points of Autogas, almost a year after its entry into the market, and currently there are a total of 19 refuelling stations qualified for the effect, according to the President of the state-owned company Eddie Jara.

In October of last year, Petropar re-entered into the market with a total of 10 sales points, after several years of inactivity. Autogas is sold by the local energy company under Ñande Gas brand.

Jara also said that his company is interested in doubling the current volumes it purchases from Bolivia. At present the state-owned company imports 100,000 tons of fuel.

He commented that by the end of the year they expect to reach 40 LPG sales facilities. “We are betting on more service stations, it is the way to be closer to the people,” he said. For more information, please check this link.
