Galp strengthens LPG refuelling station network in Spain
The energy company has opened a new Autogas station, located on the N-V. Highway, a strategic and important axis linking Madrid-Extremadura-Lisbon, in the province of Toledo. The facility is in Calera y Chozas, which has become the first city offering LPG in the community of Castilla-La Mancha.
The new refuelling station has joined Galp Energia’s current refuelling network offering Autogas, which until now included Madrid (Barajas, Alcalá de Henares and Sanchinarro), Barcelona (Vertix and Sant Adriá de Besós) and Galicia (Oleiros and Lapido Ames).
Galp demonstrates once again its commitment to the development of alternative fuels such as LPG, renowned for its efficient and sustainable features.
Sergio Hernández Domínguez, head of the LPG business at Galp Energia, stated: “The Autogas is a clean, efficient and economical alternative fuel with many advantages for the environment and consumers. According to forecasts, the demand for this fuel will increase in coming years, diversifying fuel choices offered in our country. Therefore, we are working on the development of our infrastructure and encouraging our commitment to this alternative fuel.”
