Dacia unveils third generation of Sendero ECO-G, Spain’s most economic LPG car

The third generation of Dacia Sandero ECO-G, in its Berlina and Stepway versions, has arrived in Spain. The new SUV is available from 12,500 Euros with an Autogas bi-fuel engine, an affordable price and a lower cost per kilometre than a car with a petrol or diesel engine.

It is necessary to highlight the great performance of Dacia in the Autogas market, where it is the leader with a 74% market share. This data means that 3 out of every 4 petrol/LPG bi-fuel vehicles sold in Spain in 2020 belong to the Dacia brand. Sandero, which makes 15% of its sales in this type of environmentally friendly technology, is the absolute leader in this market in Spain, and enjoys the many advantages of the ECO label issued by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).

Dacia is the only manufacturer that offers a gasoline and LPG bi-fuel system in its entire range of passenger cars under the ECO-G seal. Factory integration of this proven technology in the TCe 100 ECO-G engine is a guarantee of safety and reliability. The duration of the manufacturer’s warranty, the intervals and the cost of maintenance operations and the capacity of the boot are identical to those of a petrol version (the LPG tank takes the place of the spare wheel).

When running on Autogas, the new Sandero ECO-G emits an average of 11% less CO2 emissions (compared to an equivalent gasoline engine). In addition, it offers more than 1,300 kilometres of range thanks to its two tanks: 50 litres for the LPG tank (40 litres of useful capacity since the filling is limited to 80%, which means 8 litres more than the previous generation of Sandero LPG) and 50 litres of gasoline.

Under Dacia’s ‘Smart Buying’ concept, the Sandero range has historically offered its customers an attractive, robust, comprehensive, reliable, quality product at an unbeatable price. The result of this are the close to a quarter of a million Spanish clients since its launch in 2009. For more information, please visit this link.
