Dacia leads Italian Autogas car market for forth year consecutive
Since 2019, Dacia maintains its leadership in the Italian LPG car market and has begun 2023 with over 40% market share. The TCe ECO-G 100 engine, available in the brand’s New Visual Identity, guarantees an economic, ecological solution with a modern look and is confirmed as a pillar of the Dacia strategy.
In the first quarter of 2023, Dacia’s customers positioned the company as the best-selling brand in the Autogas private car market with over 22,700 registrations. With its ECO-G offer, the only one available on all internal combustion vehicles in the range, Dacia offers eco-sustainable mobility solutions in line with the purchasing power of its customers.
Since 2009, over 625,000 LPG-powered vehicles have been sold by Dacia in Europe and 245,000 in Italy, and since 2019 Dacia vehicles have conquered the leadership of these market. With a market share of over 40% in the first months of 2023, and a growth of 33% compared to the same period of 2022, Dacia firmly maintains its first place in the LPG car market ranking.
The choice of the bi-fuel petrol/LPG engine is undoubtedly an intelligent choice, in line with the philosophy of the Dacia Brand. The more drivers run on LPG, the more the benefits they get. The customer saves 40% on each full tank compared to petrol, from 4 to 5 euros every 100 km. In addition, the total range with a full tank of petrol and LPG, is approximately 1,200 km.
Furthermore, the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty (3 years/100,000 kilometres), the intervals and costs of maintenance operations are the same as those of the petrol-powered version.
With an LPG car, the customer does not need to give up anything. The boot capacity is unchanged compared to the petrol models since the system takes the place of the spare wheel, guaranteeing maximum load volume. With a single button it is possible to easily switch from petrol to LPG mode and refuelling is close at hand thanks to the network of over 4,500 service stations throughout Italy.
