Canary Islands encourage adoption of Autogas in driving school vehicles

DISA and the Canary Association of Driving Schools (ACACEFV, as in its Spanish acronym) have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the use of LPG in the vehicle fleet of the associated driving schools.

Thanks to this agreement, all the driving schools’ Autogas vehicles will be able to refuel, with exclusive offers, at DISA filling stations located in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

With the use of Autogas, driving schools fleets will avoid the emission of more than 100 tonnes of CO2 per year. This reduction is equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by 250 trees, comparable to the surface of a football field, a relevant fact considering that the Canary Islands continues to grow in CO2 emissions when the objective is to have started to reduce them for a decade.

The president of the ACACEFV Javier Báez expressed his satisfaction with the signing of this agreement that will help improve the Canary Islands’ environment and achieve economic advantages for the members.

In addition to delivering cards to ACACEFV members so that they can refuel at its station network, DISA Group is also offering them the possibility of financing the LPG conversion of their vehicles in 12 months without interest. For more information, please visit this link.
