State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid announced the government has taken initiative to support Autogas adoption. He also said the government has already given approval to four companies (Orion, Beximco, Omera and Bashundhara) to build and install LPG refuelling stations.

He informed the House that the present government has formulated the “Setting up of auto gas refuelling station and conversion workshop and management and maintenance policy 2016” for ensuring security and proper management.
