Terpel upgrades its largest service station in Ecuador, adds Autogas supply

Terpel has invested USD 600,000 in strengthening “25 de Julio” service station in Guayaquil, the largest of the brand nationwide, according to the company which has 109 stations in Ecuador. The facility is located in the south of the country’s capital city.

In addition to the modernisation of the station, Terpel has added new services, including the commercialisation of Autogas.

“The station has a total of four islands, 14 dispensers for traditional fuels and two for LPG. Likewise, thinking of meeting every need of our customers, they will be able to access the Altoque store, where they will find convenience products and which will be open to the public 24/7,” explained Xavier Granda, Terpel’s Fuel Manager.

According to the Granda, LPG is a fuel mainly used by the taxi drivers’ union in Guayaquil. As it is located in a commercially strategic area of the city the upgraded station is expected to receive an average of 64,000 private cars and 10,000 taxis monthly.

Terpel is a Colombian company dedicated to the distribution of fuels and lubricants with an important presence in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Ecuador, where it began operations in 2006.
