Spain: Renault announces new Captur with Autogas version

The Autogas option of the new Renault Captur will be available in March, according to the automaker. This is one of the two environmentally-friendly versions that this model will have in its range: in addition to the LPG bi-fuel car, Renault will launch a plug-in hybrid version in the summer.

The new Autogas Renault Captur is factory-adapted to work with both petrol and LPG, thanks to the auxiliary LPG tank located under the trunk. The driver can choose the fuel to use, so the range provided by the LPG tank joins to the kilometres that the car can make with the 48 litres of the petrol tank.

Moreover, the vehicle offers a maximum torque of 160 Nm and a 100 HP engine, just as in the Captur TCe model, on which it is based. It also features a maximum speed of 173 km/h, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.3 seconds.

The price of the Autogas Captur is 17,187 Euros and is labelled with the ECO sticker from the Spanish Directorate-General for Traffi (DGT), being able to access city centres at all times without restrictions and spending less on parking fares. For more information, please visit this link.
