New Autogas roadmap launched in the United States

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has launched an online map to showcase the growing number of fleets in various markets that use Autogas to fuel their trucks, vans, buses and sedans.

The “Propane Autogas Roadmap” is an interactive resource that charts fleets nationwide that are succeeding with LPG vehicles. Participants can add a fleet to the map by visiting www.propane.com/autogas-roadmap and answering a few short questions about the fleet’s profile, including the number and type of vehicles, location and years using Autogas. Fleets can also share their successes to further personalise their fleet’s addition to the map.

“Autogas is a proven, affordable and clean alternative fuel,” said Michael Taylor, director of Autogas business development for PERC. “Fleet owners who choose Autogas vehicles should be proud of their decision to help reduce emissions while saving their business money. One way to showcase that pride is by pinning their fleet to our Autogas roadmap.”

The PERC has also redesigned its website to better showcase all of the things LPG can do, including benefits for Autogas fleet vehicles. “The new site contains all of the insightful and educational content that fleet owners have come to expect from PERC. It has been repackaged in an easy-to-navigate format, with even more information to answer more of the questions fleet owners have about transitioning to Autogas,” commented Taylor.
