Olympus Oil Company Limited and Atlas Energy Company Limited, subsidiaries of PGT Energy that operate the LPG distribution business and the service station network, have launched the project “PT Auto Transform – Save fuel, use LPG.” This is open for the general public and available until 31 October 2022.

The new initiative seeks to speed up the transition to Autogas by installing a new fuel system in passenger cars. This will help reduce fuel costs compared to petrol, diesel and natural gas, while also offering an alternative fuel in times of energy crisis.

According to Suwatchai Phithakwongsaporn, Managing Director of Olympus Oil Company Limited, the project aim to transform 4,000 cars. The Autogas conversion kits are certified by the Department of Land Transport, and all drivers that install the equipment will receive several benefits including discounts on LPG refuelling.

PT Auto Transform is a follow up of the project “PT TAXI TRANSFORM – Change for the Future,” which focused on helping Thai taxi fleets reduce their operation costs during the pandemic and which received a lot of interest. For more information, please check here.
