More Autogas vehicles running in Kazakhstan’s streets

Some 89,592 vehicles with installed LPG conversion kits were registered by the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan in the first half of 2018. This is 44.5% more compared to the same period last year, according to Kazakhstan’s Auto Business Association.

This figure accounts for 15.9% of all vehicles registered in January-June in Kazakhstan.  “Today, Autogas is the most affordable vehicle fuel in Kazakhstan. A litre of liquefied gas costs 55-80 tenge (0.15-0.22 cents of dollar),” the association said.

Kazakhstan’s Auto Business Association believes there is growing popularity of cars running on Autogas.

Most of the vehicles with LPG conversion kits registered in 1H2018 are owned by individuals (84,660 units) and 4,932 cars with conversion kits are owned by legal entities. If you want to know more, please check this link.
