LPG-powered Renault Clio will arrive in Turkey in September

The Renault Clio, the best-selling hatchback model in Europe and Turkey, has undergone a refreshing update. In September, Renault will introduce an Autogas version in Turkey, featuring an enhanced design and new features. LPG, a popular vehicle fuel choice in Turkey, will be a significant highlight of this release.

With a remarkable track record, Renault has sold over 16 million Clio units worldwide to date. Turkey, ranking second in Clio sales globally, has contributed more than 600,000 units to this impressive figure.

The price of the new Renault Clio has not been announced yet, but it is expected to attract consumers with a competitive pricing policy. Considering its popularity and sales success in Turkey, the new LPG-powered version is expected to reach record sales.

The new Autogas Renault Clio will feature a TCe 100 LPG three-cylinder turbo engine. This bi-fuel system not only enhances performance but also reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Compared to the equivalent petrol engine alone, it emits 8% less CO2. It also performs well, generating a maximum torque of 170 Nm at 2,000 rpm.

This provides a flexible and versatile use. With both tanks full, it can cover a distance of over 1,000 km. The Autogas system is a well-established and reliable technology that is easy to use, cost-effective, and offers instant savings. The Autogas system is assembled at the factory.
