Argentina’s Autogas station network keeps growing

A new Autogas refuelling station, located in the province of Corrientes, in north-eastern Argentina, will join the blue corridor that SIFER GAS plans to develop in the country. The new facility is the company’s sixth LPG station.

SIFER GAS has recently begun construction of the new filling station, which will be operational at the beginning of 2021 and will try to ease the problems of fuel supply that this region currently suffers.

The new site is part of SIFER GAS’ blue corridor, with other five LPG stations already operational in the provinces of Chaco, Corrientes and Formosa, according to the President of the company, Raúl Persoaglia.

He also explained that the company’s mission is the “design, construction and operation of public LPG service stations, with simple and reliable technology, that allow vehicles to be refuelled in a very short time, under the quality and safety standards required by the regulations that rule the activity.”

“2019 was a hard year for everyone in Argentina. But were able to stay afloat, and we believe that LPG vehicle conversions will stabilise from February onwards,” added Persoaglia.
